The Governmental Ethics Act requires elected officials and certain state employees with supervisory duties or authority over state contracts and funds to file annual Statements of Economic Interest. By law, it is required that Statements of Economic Interest filed with the Secretary of State are made public on the Illinois Secretary of State's website.
